Attorney Ari Solotoff to Indiana University at Bloomington for “Legal Issues in the Arts”

On Thursday, Nov. 3, Managing Attorney Ari Solotoff will be traveling to Indiana University at Bloomington to teach Legal Issues in the Arts in person. In addition to being an entertainment attorney, Ari is teaching virtually as an adjunct professor for the Fall 2022 semester within IU’s O’Neill School for Public and Environmental Studies and the Master of Art in Arts Administration Program.

Ari has shaped his teachings around practical and emerging issues facing the next generation of leaders in the arts. Foundational topics of his courses include copyright protection for music, drama, and the visual arts; music licensing, and more. Ari’s courses also explore the hidden power dynamics between creators and sources of capital, especially for historically underrepresented populations. Ari also teaches Legal Issues in the Arts at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and music law at the Eastman School of Music.

This will be Ari’s first time traveling to the Hoosier state and Solotoff Law Firm wishes him good luck and safe travels!
